Services
Administration Curious?
Often faculty and staff become interested in positions in administration but may be uncertain what to expect in those new roles despite knowing every detail of the job description. Learn more from seasoned administrators by scheduling an informational interview.
How do I ...?
Once in a while, as deans or senior administrators, we may find ourselves in need of mentorship and advice. The higher up in administration you are, the lonelier it gets but we are here to help. Mentorship is our specialty. Connect with us to share your challenge, obtain advice on how to navigate a situation or simply get things off your chest. We look forward to helping you.
Now what?
Leadership positions are often "at will" meaning an administrator's position can be ended or eliminated with little advance warning. Being asked to step down on short notice can be hugely disruptive to a person's life. Connect with us for support on how to navigate through this difficult time and together we may be able to identify strategies for moving forward and framing your next chapter.
Everything But the Kitchen Sink
Ok, almost everything! We know many challenges and projects do not fit neatly in the hour slots we block on our calendars. A free half hour consultation can help us to determine together what is right for you in terms of the duration and frequency of the services we offer. Large projects may require the expertise of two or more consultants so please reach out to see what may be possible.
Office Hours
If you wish to just drop in and brainstorm/vent/find moral support on a graduate education issue, just send us several available times and dates that work with your calendar and we will pencil you in for a virtual appointment. No fee for cancellations (we know you are busy and we know a dean's work, so we understand).
Pricing
One-hour consultation: $175
The session is crafted to highlight foreseable possibilities, strategies and/or solutions after a free initial information-gathering exchange that, either by email or in a free half hour zoom call, collects the client's background, experience and issue of interest. All information is held in the strictest of confidentiality.
Five-pack offer: $750
This option may be suitable for issues that are evolving in real time and need continuous refinement and support from our experienced leaders. We can help evaluate if this is the right solution for your case and advise in advance.
Term-long consultations
10-15 week long consultations on issues such as strategic planning or organizational change would require a free information-gathering session to understand the complexity of the challenge. An estimate will then be custom created for the client and in accordance with their needs.
Drop in hours: $75 per visit
Each week, Wooster Consulting offers "drop in consultations" on a first-come-first-serve basis. RSVP with your payment and state your preferred time. You will receive a zoom link unique to the time you reserved. This option differs from the One-Hour Consultation in two ways: 1} It is 45 minutes long and requires no prep work from us on the issue you bring to office hours. This is a great option for one-time brainstorming sessions.
